The ever so utterly intelligent Thorolf Tønjum has solved the programming contest using Microsoft Excel.
And, the result is amazing. Something shows up. I am sure. Actually, it seems like the center of all entertainment – Las Vegas has something to do with this?

I don’t get it
The “all seeing eye” is an intriguing thought,
but it is only viable as a thought-experiment,
the problem is that, even at resolutions down to 64×64, we experience combinatorial havoc, with only 100 tones of gray, the number of permutations (all possible combinations) becomes massive:
100^(64*64 = 100^4096 = 10^8192 .
Which is the number 10 followed by 8192 zeros.
10^8192 is a prohibitively big number to do anything remotely sensible with in the sense of actually seeing these 10^8192 frames, frame by frame…
Why?, well as a comparison there are “only” 10^13 cells in the human body, 10^11 brain cells, and 10^101 connections between theese brain cells.
Further it’s a mere 1.5 x 10^17 seconds since the creation of Tellus, the third planet in the Solar System, sometimes also referred to as the earth,
which originated some 5 billion years ago.
We should probably also mention, that the most detailed architectural blueprint known to man, the human DNA, contains 22 000 genes, constructed with an average of 100 000 nucleidic acids, which is approximately 2.2 x 10^9 DNA molecules.
The number 10^8192 demands that you need aproximately 10^481 times the age of the world to look through all the pictures.
This number is inn fact so astronomically big, that it even dwarfs the
number of existing atoms in the known universe:
which is estimated to 4 x 10^79 atoms, that is the number ten followed by 79 zeros times four, as such the seemingly feasible thought experiment of our esteemed guru, the honorable, Eirik Solheim, captures not less than 10^103 times the atoms of the known universe.
NB. The known part of the universe is only the directly observable part,
which accounts to 14 billion light years in all directions, this is only natural
as the universe is only approximately 14 billion years old, and we cannot see backward in time past the birth of the universe.
