I have 3 kids and before getting a portable dvd player it was an nightmare as they kept fighting with each other out of pure boredom.
Now they are occupied and much quieter, with constant noise from children it can be very dangerous due to lack of concentration because of the noise.
The Thomson player look great, how much is?

Insignia makes a portable DVD player that comes with the three female RCA cables to 3.5mm that works great for playing iPod audio and video on the player. I just need to find where they sell the cable because I don’t want a Insignia.

Hi I have an ipod 80 , I tried to watch my movie from my ipod using my portable tv.looking at your set up and using 2 av cables with RCA and the adapter and hooked it back to the tv but nothing happens …No picture at all .I am confused

It runs on a rechargeable battery that was included. According to the manual it will last for three hours.

With a TV card in your computer you can record TV and burn to video DVD or recompress and burn DivX files. And play them in the DTH620. Would be perfect for some catching up during a commute.

Hello there!

Does the portable dvd, divx etc. player run on batterys? I’m enjoying the beautifull nature of a train trip from Moss to Oslo every – beep – day, so with at tv-card on my computer and this portable dvd-player I could catch up with some tv-viewing?
