Had to replace some ink jet cartridges today. Canon, I love your products. But this?
Shame on you.
I don’t need half a kilo of packaging and manuals for each cartridge. This is ridiculous. Maybe you missed it, but companies try to show that they are environmentally friendly now. You know? Trying to be nice to our planet?
Yea, I’ve noticed this extreme amount of packaging waste as well. I can understand the need to shrink-wrap the cartridge itself in plastic to preserve it, but everything else is just superfluous crap.
Hey, It’s only wrapped three times? 😀 (At least mine are)
HP is just as bad… they just wrap it all in way too much… ads and all this crap could have been left out.
Let them know! Send them an e-mail and direct them to this article.
sometimes I wonder if these producers have ever heard of packaging waste prevention. LOOP has made a film about this (in Norwegian):
Film om emballasjeoptimering
