How to play 3GP- and AMR-files without QuickTime

If you install a little program called mpegable DS decoder you can play video and audio clips from your mobile phone on your PC without using QuickTime. It works very well, and lets me even open my 3GP-files in Sony Vegas Video for editing and reencoding.

i just want to play podcasts on my computer. i installed quicktime alternative and that works for most files, but i still can’t seem to get some podcasts to play. i’m using firefox 2.0.0.3.

for example when i click on one of these firefox tells me i have to have to install quicktime to play them.
