Making miniatures of your images

Tilt-shift miniature faking has been around for a while. But I hadn’t seen Tiltshiftmaker before. And decided to give it a go. It’s a web site where you can upload an image or give it the URL of an image. Then it adds a simple blur effect and adjust the color to make the illusion of a miniature model. Works pretty good.

Pretty cool.

And by the way. The image is from Ljubljana in Slovenia. Fantastic city.

And if you want to do it with photoshop you can try one of the many tutorials out there.

  1. it is probably best to buy yourself 6×6 lens and make yourself tilt-shift 😀

you can not fake real ts photo. you get only ps blur, not real background with bokeh…

    regards,

p.s. this 40 secons movie is very nice idea.

  2. Since I have been on your site a couple of times for details about the 40 seconds video (it gave me the idea of making something similar), I was surprised I’ve never seen that you posted a really nice picture of Ljubljana.

I guess it’s wise to check the whole pages from time to time, not only the related post 😉
